Tagaytay Highlands Ladies Cup lures banner field – rezal404

A huge field of 200 players tee off on Saturday to mark the return of The Highlands Ladies Cup (THLC), which offers competitive 18-hole action and attractive prizes with the Midlands layout and the Lucky Nine of the posh complex to be used to accommodate the field.

A sparkling Swarovski watch worth $2,000 (around P112,000) courtesy of Marixi Prieto and daughter Sandy Prieto-Romualdez, has been added as hole-in-one prize on No. 3 of the Lucky 9 course.

The shotgun start is set at 8 am with play held under the System 36 scoring format.

Organized and hosted by the Tagaytay Highlands Ladies Chapter, the event, before being shuttered by the pandemic, used to be staged late each year, but the THLC moved it to an earlier date to coincide with the Tagaytay Ladies team’s 18th founding anniversary celebrations.

Belle Corp.’s Willy Ocier, Rosalind Wee of W Group of Companies and Sandy Romualdez will hit the ceremonial drives to usher in the tournament backed by Diamond sponsors W Group, Inc., CWC Int’l. Corp., Agriculture and Ocier.

The THLC, in its continuing effort to contribute to a positive environmental impact, will also give away plants to help the participants connect with nature.
