SCHEDULE: Philippines at SEA Games 2023 volleyball


The Philippines national volleyball teams seek to return to the podium in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, which officially opens on May 5.

The women’s team, bannered by skipper Alyssa Valdez, tries to end its string of heartbreaks in the regional meet with its last medal run in 2005. The Filipino volleybelles open their campaign on May 9.

Meanwhile, the overhauled men’s team – with only Jau Umandal the remaining holder from the national team that won a historic silver in 2019 – hopes to barge back into the top 3.
