MANILA, Philippines—Filipino swimmers bagged a silver and bronze medal on Friday in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at Morodok Techo National Stadium: Aquatic Center in Cambodia.

The Philippines ended up with a silver medal in the women’s 4×100 meter freestyle team relay thanks to the efforts of Teia Salvino, Miranda Renner, Xiandi Chua and Jasmine Alkhaldi.

They finished in second place with a combined time of 03:47.96 minutes.

Singapore took home the gold in said event while Thailand completed the podium with a bronze medal finish.

Meanwhile, Jerard Dominic Jacinto came away with bronze in the men’s 100m backstroke category with a 55.99-second swim.

Zheng Wen Quah of Singapore (55.22s) emerged victorious with the gold medal while Farrel Armandio Tangkas of Indonesia (55.8s) followed suit with silver.
