MANILA, Philippines — MCFASolver Tech Centrale is eager to make an immediate impact when it debuts in the PBA 3×3 Season 3 Second Conference next week.

The Lubao-based electronics and appliance company on Monday announced its participation in the PBA 3×3. And it is out to compete against the strong teams.

“Definitely, that’s the goal. We’re not doing this to place second so we want to contend and win a championship,” said coach Anton Altamirano.

MCFASolver Tech Centrale tapped veteran 3×3 players TH Tumalip, Ael Banal, Yutien Andrada, and Louie Vigil for its maiden PBA campaign.

The team also added Filipino-Canadian big man Brandon Ramirez and veteran gunner Nico Salva.

The team competed in the recent Fiba 3×3 World Tour Cebu Masters last month.

That’s why co-team owner Ma. Cristina F. Antonio is confident about the team’s chances in the 11-team field tournament.

“We’re jumping into the world of sports in the PBA 3×3 confident that our team can compete,” she said in Filipino.

MCFASolver Tech Centrale, which is celebrating its sixth anniversary, is committed to playing for two PBA 3×3 conferences.

The new PBA 3×3 team debuts in Leg 1 of the Second Conference on Monday at Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati.
