MANILA, Philippines—After missing out on the UAAP Season 85 women’s volleyball finals, Adamson looks to have a better outing next season with two of its key cogs staying for another year.

Setter Louie Romero and middle blocker Lorene Toring have announced that they will continue to bolster the Lady Falcons come Season 86.

“It was all worth it but this is not the end. See you next season, Adamson,” Romero wrote in an Instagram post.

In the Lady Falcons final game for the UAAP where they lost against National University, Romero finished with 14 excellent sets in a losing effort.

Toring, meanwhile, said she would remain with the team not only for herself but for the Adamson community as well.

“One more for the younger Lorene Toring. One more for those who continue to support. One more for Adamson,” Toring said in Filipino.

“I(Toring) n’yong pangako ito na mas ilalaban pa namin.”

The veteran duo of Toring and Romero will back up rising star Trisha Tubu, who was almost a near-lock for Rookie of the Year, next season under veteran coach Jerry Yee.

The Lady Falcons tied with University of Santo Tomas in last tournament’s elimination round with 10 wins and four losses.
