An Achilles injury sustained by Kevin Ferrer in the first half marred Terrafirma’s 104-92 victory over TNT in the PBA On Tour on Wednesday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Ferrer had to be wheeled out of the venue on a stretcher after getting hurt with 16 seconds left in the second quarter of the contest which saw the Dyip enter the win column in the exhibition series.

The six-year forward had been dealing with injuries in the past, including a shoulder in last season’s PBA Governors’ Cup.

He had seven points and three rebounds in 19 minutes before the injury.

Terrafirma won after dropping its first two PBA On Tour outings behind a big third quarter that saw coach Johnedel Cardel’s wards score 42 points against TNT’s 25.

Juami Tiongson topscored for the Dyip with 21 points while Allen Mina made all of his 10 points in the third.

Isaac Go, who had been dealing with an ACL injury before his return in the On Tour, had 15 points and eight rebounds for the Dyip.

Glenn Khobuntin produced 25 points, but the Tropang Giga, who only fielded their role players and four San Beda cagers, lost for the second time in as many games.

TNT was up 42-38 at the half before Terrafirma went on an offensive burst to take the lead for good.
