UAAP postpones October 23 games due to Kristine


Following class suspensions in several Metro Manila cities, the UAAP has postponed all the Season 87 games scheduled for Wednesday, October 23.

Anticipating severe weather brought about by Tropical Storm Kristine, the basketball games in the men’s and junior’s division and volleyball games in the high school boys are moved to a later date.

In the seniors division, the postponed games are the matches between Adamson and Ateneo and University of the Philippines against University of the East at Mall of Asia Arena.

SCHEDULE: UAAP Season 87 basketball

FEU-Diliman and Ateneo and La Salle Zobel and Adamson were supposed to clash in the junior high school division at the same venue.

The canceled high school boys volleyball match-ups were University of Santo Tomas versus Adamson, National University Nazareth School versus UE, FEU-D versus UP-IS, and De La Salle Zobel against Ateneo at Paco Arena in Manila.

Class suspensions have already been declared in Manila City, Quezon City, and Pasay City as of posting.

The league said it will announce the new schedule for the postponed games at a later date.
