MANILA, Philippines — Premier Volleyball League (PVL) stars Ced Domingo, Dani Ravena, and Fifi Sharma relished the experience of playing with ABS-CBN celebrities in the Star Magic All-Star Games on Sunday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Domingo and Ravena helped the Lady Spikers complete a “four-peat” after overcoming the Sharma-led Lady Setters, 25-20, 22-25, 25-18, before an ecstatic crowd.

The Akari pair played different positions as Domingo shone as an opposite hitter with nine points, while Ravena ran the plays as a setter.

“Playing with the artists was so fun. As pros, we’re just there to support them. I’m happy that they were able to bring out their inner volleyball player,” said Domingo in Filipino. “They enjoyed [the game] at the same time they were very competitive. I’m really happy for them and us, pro players.”

“This is one of the good signs that everyone’s interested in volleyball. It’s one step closer to bringing up the level of volleyball.”

Awra Briguela powered the Lady Spikers with 23 points, while Analain Salvador earned her fourth straight MVP with 11 points.

Sharma, fresh off a historic bronze medal finish with Alas Pilipinas in the AVC Challenge Cup, carried the Lady Setters with 14 points including four aces.

“It’s fun because there’s no pressure coming into this game. All we had to do was have fun so it’s a good change of scenery,” Sharma told reporters.

“[I was surprised!] Like people know me here in the artista circle? It’s always fun to play in front of an energetic crowd.”

Erin Navarro backstopped Sharma with 11 points for the Lady Setters, as crowd-favorite BINI Mikha Lim orchestrated their offense and emerged as the Best Setter with a pair of aces to boot.

Lim and Best Hitter Briguela and Best Receiver Salvador led the mythical six with Reign Parani, Janah Zaplan, and Vivoree.

Leona Andalio, the sister of actress Loisa Andalio, was named Best Libero.
