MANILA, Philippines—Jeffrey Cariaso accepted his role as Blackwater’s newest coach on Friday with an eagerness to mentor a young squad.
In an Instagram post, the former Alaska mentor revealed that he is more than eager to work with “new people” in his coaching career.
“There is nothing more rewarding than continuing my passion, with a new set of givens that can only push me to become better at my craft,” Cariaso said.
“I’m also eager to be working with a new set of people–a combination of old and new acquaintances–that certainly hold promise as we go through the grind together.”
Since having already coached the Aces and even Converge for a time, the experience is there for Cariaso.
Cariaso will be taking over after Ariel Vanguardia’s post with the Bossing. The Vanguardia-Blackwater connection tallied a combined 10-36 record.
The new Bossing mentor also assured the Blackwater fans that he will show professionalism in his new assignment.
“As with all of the teams I have been a part of, as a player and coach, I guarantee my professionalism, commitment and love for the game,” he said.
His eagerness to coach new players in his career will be shown when he handles stars Troy Rosario, Ato Ular and Baser Amer.
